A few things to know

Register

polite by default

Use polite -요 forms with store staff. Short questions like '카드 돼요?' and '재고 있어요?' are normal and still polite; if you want a slightly more formal shape, '있나요?' works too, but the everyday default in shops is '있어요?'. Use neutral short statements for fit and size when describing how something feels on you.

grammar

Trying on with 보다

In '입어 봐도 돼요?', the pattern is verb stem + 아/어 보다. It means 'try doing' something. Here, '입어 보다' means 'try on,' and the final 돼요 keeps the whole question polite.

usage

Omitting the object in stock questions

In shopping Korean, you can often leave out the item name when the context is clear: '다른 색 있어요?', '재고 있어요?'. The noun before 있어요? is enough to mean 'Do you have...?' without adding a longer sentence.

usage

Short card-payment questions

'카드 돼요?' is a normal shortened counter question. 되다 here means 'be accepted/possible,' so the staff can answer very briefly with '네' or '안 돼요'.
