오늘 저는 큰 시장에 갔어요. 시장에는 많은 사람들이 있었고, 다양한 물건들이 있었어요.
처음에 저는 빵 가게에 갔어요. 빵이 아주 맛있어 보여서 두 개를 샀어요. 그런데 계산할 때 돈을 깜빡했어요. 나는 당황했어요.

Notice the language
This pattern means 'when (someone) does' or 'when something happens.' Attach -을 때 after a verb stem ending in a consonant and -ㄹ 때 after a vowel. It is very useful for talking about the time of an action. Example: 계산할 때 돈을 깜빡했어요. = I forgot the money when I was paying.
