Notice the language
Use -아서/어서 after a verb or adjective stem to connect two actions, often showing a reason or result. It is very common in short everyday sentences. In the story, "마음에 들어서 샀다" means "I liked it, so I bought it." You can reuse this pattern in sentences like "배가 고파서 밥을 먹었어요." to say "I was hungry, so I ate.".
