Notice the language
Use 와/과 함께 after a noun to mean "with" someone. It is a simple, reusable pattern for doing things together with people. You choose 와 after a noun ending in a consonant and 과 after a noun ending in a vowel. Example: "친구들과 함께 케이크를 먹어요." = "I eat cake with my friends."
