정확히 오후 세 시, 지훈의 작은 아파트 주방은 진한 커피 향으로 가득 찼다. 그는 매일 같은 시간에 커피를 내리며 하루의 반을 되돌아보는 것을 좋아했다.

그날은 특별한 계획도 없었고, 지훈은 평소처럼 천천히 커피를 준비했다. 하지만 커피 머신이 갑자기 멈췄다. 버튼은 눌렸지만 물이 나오지 않았다. 그의 일상의 작은 루틴에 균열이 생긴 순간이었다.
