서울의 한 구석에 오래된 재래시장이 조용히 자리를 잡고 있었다. 나는 그 시장을 자주 지나쳤지만, 오늘은 무언가에 끌려 천천히 걸으며 작은 가게들을 자세히 살펴보기로 했다.

한 가게의 창문 너머로 반짝이는 손목시계가 눈에 들어왔다. 호기심에 가게 안으로 들어가 보니, 주인은 나이 지긋한 할아버지였다. 그는 각종 골동품과 희귀한 시계를 조심스럽게 다루고 있었다.
