Η Μαρία αγαπούσε τη φύση και μια μέρα αποφάσισε να περπατήσει στο κοντινό δάσος.
Καθώς περπατούσε, κοίταξε γύρω της και είδε πολλά διαφορετικά φυτά και πουλιά. Ήταν ήσυχα και όμορφα.
Ξαφνικά, η Μαρία άκουσε έναν παράξενο ήχο. Κοίταξε προς τα πάνω και είδε ένα μικρό πουλί να έχει σκαλώσει σε ένα κλαδί.

Notice the language
After θέλω, ήθελα, or ήθελε, Greek uses να + a verb to say what someone wants to do. This pattern is very common and works with many verbs. For example: Η Μαρία ήθελε να βοηθήσει το πουλί.
Η Μαρία ήθελε να βοηθήσει το πουλί.
Maria wanted to help the bird.
