Η Άννα πήγε διακοπές σε ένα μικρό χωριό δίπλα στη θάλασσα.
Τη μέρα που έφτασε, ο ουρανός ήταν γκρίζος και ο αέρας κρύος. Η Άννα περπατούσε στο λιμάνι, κοιτώντας τα καράβια.
Ξαφνικά, είδε ένα μικρό καράβι χωρίς κυβερνήτη. Έμοιαζε να κινείται μόνο του προς το λιμάνι.
Η Άννα ήθελε να το σταματήσει, αλλά δεν ήξερε πώς. Έτρεξε να φωνάξει βοήθεια, αλλά οι άλλοι άνθρωποι είχαν φύγει.

Notice the language
After θέλω / ήθελε, Greek uses να + verb to say what someone wants to do. This is a very common pattern for beginners and works with many verbs. Example: "Η Άννα ήθελε να το σταματήσει." = "Anna wanted to stop it." You can reuse this pattern whenever you want to say what a person wants to do.
Η Άννα ήθελε να το σταματήσει.
Anna wanted to stop it.
