Η μικρή Λίνα καθόταν στο σαλόνι της γιαγιάς της.
Το σπίτι ήταν ήσυχο, γιατί όλοι κοιμούνταν το μεσημέρι. Η Λίνα αγαπούσε αυτή την ώρα, γιατί ήταν ήρεμη και σκέφτονταν.
Κοίταξε το παλιό ρολόι στον τοίχο. Έκανε ένα μικρό ήχο κάθε λεπτό. Ο ήχος της άρεσε, ήταν σαν μουσική.
Ξαφνικά, άκουσε ένα μικρό θόρυβο στην κουζίνα. Σηκώθηκε αργά και πήγε να δει.
Η γιαγιά είχε αφήσει το παράθυρο ανοιχτό, και ο άνεμος είχε κλείσει την πόρτα της κουζίνας λίγο αργά. Η Λίνα γέλασε με το μικρό μυστήριο της σιωπής.
Γύρισε στο σαλόνι και κάθισε ξανά. Σκέφτηκε πόσο όμορφα είναι να έχεις μια ώρα για να ακούς τη σιωπή και να βλέπεις τα μικρά πράγματα.
Η ώρα πέρασε ήσυχα, και όλοι ξύπνησαν με ένα χαμόγελο. Η σιωπή δεν ήταν μόνο αδράνεια στη ζωή τους, αλλά μια στιγμή για να νιώσουν την οικογένεια με διαφορετικό τρόπο.
