Midden in het bos voelde Eva iets bijzonders. Ze liep langzaam over het zachte mos en zag dat de zon door de bomen danste.
Plotseling viel haar oog op een klein lichtje dat tussen de struiken flikkerde. Ze liep ernaartoe, nieuwsgierig maar een beetje voorzichtig.
Toen Eva dichterbij kwam, zag ze dat het lichtje van een vuurvliegje kwam. Het kleine insect flikkerde rustig tussen de bladeren. Eva bleef stil staan en keek hoe het vuurvliegje zijn licht aan en uit deed.
Het lichtje leek op een geheim teken in de donkere natuur. Eva voelde zich rustig en blij, ook al gebeurde er niets bijzonders meer dan dat.
Na een paar minuten vloog het vuurvliegje weg en verdween het lichtje tussen de bomen. Eva stond nog even stil en dacht na over het kleine wonder in het bos.
Ze wist niet precies waarom, maar het moment voelde belangrijk voor haar. Misschien was het gewoon een klein herinnering om goed te kijken naar de kleine dingen om je heen.
Eva liep langzaam terug naar het pad, terwijl de zon langzaam zakte en de kleuren van het bos veranderden.
Thuis dacht ze vaak aan het flikkerende licht in het bos, en hoe iets kleins soms een groot gevoel kan geven.

Notice the language
