En la escuela secundaria García Márquez, la biblioteca siempre fue un lugar tranquilo y lleno de libros interesantes.
Esta mañana, Raquel, una estudiante de quince años, llegó temprano para estudiar para un examen importante de historia. Mientras buscaba un libro, notó que algunas páginas estaban arrancadas y que había papeles con notas extrañas escondidos entre las estanterías.
Curiosa, empezó a leer las notas. Parecían pistas de un misterio que alguien quería resolver. Raquel no sabía quién había dejado esas pistas ni qué buscaban, pero sintió un poco de emoción como si estuviera en una película.

Al terminar la semana, las pistas seguían sin resolver. Raquel comprendió que algunos misterios no necesitan respuestas inmediatas y que disfrutar la búsqueda era lo más importante.
Dejó las notas donde las encontró para que otros estudiantes curiosos también pudieran participar alguna vez. La biblioteca volvió a su calma, y Raquel cruzó los pasillos pensando en las muchas historias que guardaban los libros y las paredes del colegio, sin necesidad de revelar todos sus secretos.
Ese día, aprendió a valorar los momentos tranquilos y la curiosidad como un camino sin prisa ni presión.

Use seguir + gerundio to say that an action continues. It is built with seguir plus a gerund like investigando. In the story, siguió investigando means 'she kept investigating.' You can reuse this pattern for something that continues over time in the present or past.
