Nunca pensé que un día en la escuela podría ser tan tranquilo.

Soy Javier, y hoy no hay mucho movimiento en mi clase. Los estudiantes están trabajando en silencio con sus tareas. La maestra dice que es un día especial para concentrarnos mucho.

Mientras dibujo en mi cuaderno, escucho un leve ruido que viene de la ventana. Miro y veo un pájaro pequeño que quiere entrar. No sé por qué, pero algo me hace sonreír.

La maestra pide atención para explicar un ejercicio, pero todos seguimos con calma. Me gusta este momento porque no hay prisas ni conversaciones, solo paz para pensar.

Al terminar la clase, la maestra dice que podemos salir un poco antes porque hicimos un buen trabajo. Todos estamos contentos, pero ninguno dice mucho, solo guardamos el silencio que nos acompañó todo el día.

Me doy cuenta que a veces es bueno tener un día tranquilo y sin ruido para sentir otras cosas y ver detalles pequeños que normalmente no noto.

no hay + sustantivo

Use no hay to say that something is not present. It works with singular and plural nouns. You can reuse it in many everyday sentences, like "No hay clase hoy." or "No hay libros en la mesa." In the story, it appears in expressions like "no hay mucho movimiento" and "No hay prisas". The meaning is simple: there is no / there are no.
