Сегодня утром Ирина проснулась в своей новой квартире. Ей было немного тяжело проснуться, потому что вчера был долгий день.
Ирина пошла на кухню, чтобы приготовить завтрак. Она увидела, что у нее нет хлеба и яиц. Тогда она решила пойти в магазин, который находится рядом с домом.
В магазине было много людей и много разных продуктов. Ирина взяла хлеб, яйца и немного фруктов. Когда она стояла в очереди, у нее вдруг пропала сумка.

Notice the language
This pattern shows that someone does not have something. Use у + person + нет + a noun, and the noun is often in the genitive case. You can reuse it for many situations: 'У меня нет хлеба.' 'У неё нет сумки.' The story uses the same pattern in 'у нее нет хлеба и яиц.'
У меня нет хлеба.
I don't have bread.
