준호는 매일 집 근처 운동장에서 농구를 연습해요.
오늘은 특별히 할머니가 준호 산책할 때 농구공을 같이 가져갔어요. 운동장은 작지만 공을 던지고 받을 수 있는 공간이 있어요.
준호는 공을 높이 던지려고 했는데, 이번에는 공이 뒤로 넘어갔어요. 놀란 준호는 공을 찾아서 다시 던졌지만 이번에는 너무 높이 올라가 나무에 걸렸어요.
조금 걱정했지만 준호는 침착하게 나무 옆에 있는 긴 막대를 가지고 친절한 아주머니에게 도움을 요청했어요. 아주머니가 도와서 공을 안전하게 꺼내줬어요.
준호는 다시 공을 잡고 농구 연습을 계속했어요. 오늘 작은 사고가 있었지만 열심히 연습하니 점점 잘하는 것 같아 뿌듯했어요. 집에 돌아갈 때 할머니도 웃으며 잘했다고 말해 주었어요.

Notice the language
Use -지만 after a verb or adjective stem to mean "but" or "however." It shows contrast between two ideas. In this story, it helps show that something difficult happened, but practice continued. Example: "비가 왔지만 우리는 운동했어요." = "It rained, but we exercised."
