Δεν ήταν πλέον μόνο ..., αλλά και ...
This pattern means "not only ..., but also ...". It is useful when you want to add a second idea that matters too. In Greek, the first part introduces one thing, and the second part adds another important thing. Example: "Δεν ήταν πλέον μόνο οι εικόνες που μετρούσαν, αλλά και οι σκέψεις και τα συναισθήματα που κρύβουμε μέσα μας." This pattern is reusable in many topics, not just school stories.
