Es ist ein sonniger Tag im Park. Leo und seine Schwester Emma spielen Tennis. Sie haben kleine Schläger und einen gelben Ball.
„Ich bin bereit!“, ruft Emma und schlägt den Ball übers Netz. Leo läuft schnell und fängt den Ball. Doch plötzlich stolpert er und fällt auf den Rasen.
Emma lacht und hilft Leo auf. "Alles gut?", fragt sie. Leo lacht auch und sagt: "Ja, das war ein lustiger Fall!"
Sie spielen weiter, aber jetzt sind sie vorsichtiger. Manchmal zählt nicht nur das Spiel, sondern auch der Spaß dabei.

Notice the language
Use auch wenn + a full clause to mean 'even if' or 'even though.' It shows that something is true despite another situation. In the story: 'Sport macht Spaß, auch wenn man fällt.' You can reuse it in sentences like: 'Ich gehe raus, auch wenn es regnet.' In a dependent clause like this, the verb goes near the end.
Sport macht Spaß, auch wenn man fällt.
