Le rendez-vous chez le dentiste

Marc n'aime pas aller chez le dentiste. Chaque fois qu'il pense à cette visite, il devient un peu nerveux.

Hier, il a senti une douleur dans sa dent. Elle faisait mal, surtout quand il buvait quelque chose de froid. Sa mère a dit qu'il fallait voir un dentiste rapidement.

Chez le dentiste, Marc a attendu dans la salle avec des magazines. Quand le docteur l'a appelé, il est allé dans une petite pièce blanche et propre.

Le dentiste a utilisé un petit miroir et une lumière. Il a expliqué que la douleur venait d'une carie. Marc avait peur, mais le dentiste était très patient.

Le docteur a nettoyé la dent doucement et a mis un petit plâtre. Après, la douleur a presque disparu. Marc était content, même s'il préfère ne pas revenir trop souvent !

En sortant, il a décidé de se brosser les dents deux fois par jour et de ne plus manger trop de bonbons. Ce petit rendez-vous a changé ses habitudes.

Marc sait que le dentiste peut aider à garder un beau sourire et une bonne santé.

Il faut / il fallait + infinitif

Use il faut + infinitive to say that something is necessary or should be done. In a story, il fallait is the past form for a need or advice in the past. Example: "Il faut voir un dentiste rapidement." You can reuse this pattern with many verbs.
