Mila loopt voorzichtig door de kleine supermarkt. Ze houdt haar lijstje in haar hand en kijkt naar de schappen.
Het is druk in de winkel. Mensen praten en halen spullen van de rekken. Mila voelt zich een beetje onzeker, want ze wil niet te lang duren.
Ze zoekt haar favoriete fruit, maar het is op. In plaats daarvan kiest ze appels. Dan gaat ze naar het brood. Ze ziet verschillende soorten, maar ze weet niet welke ze moet nemen.
Bij de kassa staat een lange rij. Mila twijfelt of ze iets vergeten is. Ze kijkt snel naar haar lijstje en ziet dat ze geen melk heeft gekocht.
Terwijl ze terugloopt, stoot ze bijna tegen een hond aan. Het baasje zegt sorry. Mila lacht en zegt dat het goed is.
Terug bij de kassa pakt ze haar spullen. De kassière groet haar vriendelijk en brengt alles naar een tas.
Mila voelt zich opgelucht als ze buiten staat. Ze dacht dat het moeilijk zou zijn, maar ze heeft alles gedaan wat ze wilde. De zon schijnt, en ze besluit om een beetje in het park te gaan zitten met haar appels.
Ze denkt na over de kleine keuzes in de winkel. Soms is het niet belangrijk om alles perfect te plannen. Het gaat om genieten van het moment en vertrouwen hebben in jezelf.
Mila glimlacht en eet een stuk appel. De ochtend is rustig, maar voor haar voelt het als een overwinning.
