في صباح مشمس، قرر سامي أن يسافر بقطار الصحراء القديم.
لم يكن القطار سريعًا لكنه كان يوفر منظرًا جميلًا للرمال الذهبية والسماء الزرقاء. جلس سامي بجانب النافذة، مستمتعًا بالهدوء.
فجأة، توقف القطار في مكان بعيد عن أي محطة. تردد الركاب قليلاً لأنهم لا يفهمون السبب.
اقترب سامي من السائق وسأله عن السبب. أجاب السائق بابتسامة هادئة: "القطار يتوقف هنا ليستريح قليلًا، ونحن نستمع لصمت الصحراء."
بدأ سامي يشعر بالفضول. استغل الوقت ليخرج إلى الخارج ويسير بين الرمال. كان الهدوء المحيط مدهشًا، وأحسَّ بحجم الطبيعة الكبير حوله.
مع مرور الوقت، عاد الجميع إلى القطار. استأنف القطار رحلته، لكن سامي بقي يفكر في تلك اللحظة التي توقف فيها العالم لبعض الوقت.
لم تكن هناك قصة كبيرة أو مغامرة غير متوقعة، فقط لحظة هدوء وسط الصحراء.

Notice the language
This pattern is used to contrast two ideas and mean "not only ... but also ...". You can reuse it when you want to say that something has a deeper or broader meaning than one simple purpose. Example: "الرحلة لم تكن فقط عن الوصول بل عن الاستمتاع بالطريق." = "The trip was not only about arriving, but also about enjoying the journey.".
