Hoy es sábado y Ana despierta temprano. Su casa está llena de luz y alegría porque hoy pasa tiempo con su familia.
Primero, Ana y su mamá preparan desayuno. Hacen huevos, pan y jugo de naranja. Su papá pone música y todos comen juntos en la mesa.
Después del desayuno, Ana y su hermano Martín van al parque. Juegan al fútbol y corren mucho. A veces, Martín gana y a veces Ana gana. Los dos se ríen mucho.

Notice the language
Use estar + adjective to describe a temporary state or feeling. In the story, "Ana está cansada pero contenta" says how Ana feels at the end of the day. You can reuse this pattern with many adjectives, for example: "Hoy estoy feliz."
Hoy estoy feliz.
Today I am happy.
