لم أتوقع أبداً أن تتحول رحلتي إلى الصحراء إلى مغامرة تحمل الكثير من الغموض والإثارة.
بدأت القصة عندما قررت نورا، الباحثة الشابة في علم البيئة، أن تدرس النباتات النادرة في الصحراء الشرقية. كانت الرحلة منظمة ومخططة بدقة، لكنها سرعان ما تغيرت عندما تعطل جهازي تحديد المواقع أثناء النهار.

Notice the language
This pattern expresses concession and means 'despite' or 'although'. It is followed by a noun or a noun phrase, and the rest of the sentence presents an unexpected result. It is very useful in formal and neutral writing. Example: «رغم التعب، قررت نورا استكشاف المكان.» This means that fatigue did not stop her from acting.
