في يوم جميل، قرر سامي أن يذهب إلى الغابة. الشمس كانت مشرقة والجو لطيف.
سامي يحب الطبيعة كثيراً. في الغابة، رأى أشجار كبيرة وأزهار ملونة. هو جلس على العشب وبدأ ينظر إلى السماء الزرقاء.
سمع صوت طيور تغني. جاءت فراشة صغيرة وجلست على يده. سامي كان سعيد جداً.
فجأة، لاحظ نهر صغير يجري بجانب الغابة. الماء كان نظيفاً وبارداً. سامي وضع يده في الماء وشعر بالسعادة.
بعد وقت، قرر سامي العودة إلى البيت. لكنه وعد نفسه أن يعود إلى الطبيعة دائماً لأنها جميلة وتُشعر الإنسان بالسلام.

Notice the language
Use this pattern to say what someone or something was like. Put كان for a masculine subject and كانت for a feminine subject before the adjective. It is very reusable for people, weather, and things: سامي كان سعيداً جداً. الشمس كانت مشرقة.
سامي كان سعيداً جداً.
Sami was very happy.
الشمس كانت مشرقة.
The sun was shining.
