In a small town far away, there was a special day called the Festival of Colors. Every year, people from the town would come together to celebrate with bright powders and happy songs.
Anya, a young girl, watched from her window as neighbors threw red, blue, and yellow colors into the air. She wanted to join but felt shy because her family was new to the town and she did not know many people.
As the celebration began, Anya’s neighbor, Mr. Patel, saw her watching quietly. He smiled and waved her over. Reluctantly, Anya joined him in throwing colors. At first, she just threw a little dust, but soon she laughed as more colors covered her clothes and face.
During the festival, Anya learned that this day was more than just fun—it was about sharing joy and respecting the old tradition that brought everyone together. People spoke different languages and came from different places, but for this day, they were one.
After the festival, Anya’s feelings changed. She thought about her own family’s customs and how she could share them with her new friends. The town seemed bigger and warmer, not because of the colors, but because she felt part of something larger.
Later, sitting alone with her head full of colors and stories, Anya wondered about the many ways people celebrate the world. She did not have all the answers yet, but she liked the idea of finding her own place among the many traditions.
The Festival of Colors ended with the sun setting, and everyone went home with colored hands and happy hearts. Anya’s day was not just about colors on her skin but about colors in her life opening up little by little.
