Nobody knew why the small restaurant on Maple Street was suddenly full every evening.
Emma, the owner, was a quiet woman who loved cooking. Her special soup had been on the menu for years, but no one paid much attention to it.

She did not know if she would keep adding the spice, but the restaurant felt alive with a new energy.
