I walked slowly in the forest last Sunday morning. The air was cool and fresh. There were many birds singing in the tall trees.
I did not want to go far, just a short walk to enjoy the quiet. As I moved between the trees, I saw small flowers on the ground. Their bright colors made me smile.
Suddenly, I stopped. I heard a sound, soft but strange. It was not a bird or wind. I looked carefully and saw a small animal. It was a little fox, sitting and watching me.
We stayed still for a moment. The fox did not run away. I felt calm and happy to see it so close. After a while, the fox got up and slowly walked away behind the bushes.
I continued my walk feeling peaceful. The forest was quiet again, but I knew the small fox was still there, somewhere.
Thinking about it later, I liked that my walk was simple. Sometimes, nature gives us small, gentle surprises without noise or rush. It was a quiet moment I could keep in my mind.
I did not take pictures or make sounds. I just enjoyed the calm and the little fox’s company from a distance. Nature can be wonderful in its own quiet way.
