My grandpa has an old phone in his house. It is big and heavy. It does not have a screen or many buttons. I often visit him, and this phone is always on the table.

One day, I tried to use the phone. I wanted to call my friend. But the phone made a strange noise. It sounded like it was trying to say something.

I asked my grandpa, "What is that noise?" He smiled and said, "It is an old voice. It is the phone trying to connect."

Suddenly, the phone spoke clearly. It told a story about the city long ago, about people who used phones like it. I was surprised. I never thought a phone could talk like a person.

Grandpa laughed and said, "This phone is special. It remembers many stories and now shares one with you."

I listened carefully. The phone told about times without computers and fast machines, about letters and voices going through wires.

After the story, the phone was silent again. I felt happy but also a little sad. It was a moment from the past in today’s quiet room.

I put the phone down, thinking about how things change with time. Technology is not only about new machines but also about memories we keep.

That day, the old phone spoke not just with sounds but with history and heart.

It was an unexpected gift, a quiet moment to think about the world and the time we live in.
