Today was a big day for Tom. He was going to play football with his friends at the park.
Tom was not very good at football, but he loved to try. His friends were older and better, but they always helped him.
When the game started, Tom tried to run fast and kick the ball. Many times, he missed, and the ball went far away.
But then, something funny happened. The ball came to Tom’s foot just at the right time. He kicked it hard, and the ball went straight into the goal!
Everyone stopped and looked at Tom. "Great job!" they said. Tom smiled and felt very happy.
After the game, Tom’s friends said he played well today. Tom knew he must practice more, but he was proud of his big surprise goal.
He couldn't wait for the next game to have fun again with his friends and play football under the sun.
