Sam liked to cook. One day, he found a small pot in his kitchen. Sam wanted to make soup.

He put water in the pot and added some vegetables. Sam forgot to add salt. He looked at the soup and smiled.

When Sam took a taste, the soup was not good. It was very plain. He thought, "Maybe I need to add something more."

Sam looked for spices. He found a small bag with a funny smell. He added a little to the soup.

Now the soup smelled nice. Sam took a big spoon and tasted again.

Suddenly, Sam's face changed. The soup was very spicy! It was too much for him.

He drank water fast but laughed. Sam said, "I made a small mistake with the spice."

Sam decided to add more water. He waited and tried the soup once more.

This time, the soup was warm and good. It was not perfect but it was tasty.

Sam thought the soup story was fun. He learned that cooking was a big game. Some days things go right, some days are surprises.

He did not know if he would cook the same soup again, but he felt happy to try.

Sam smiled and cleaned the kitchen, ready for another cooking day.
