Op een rustige zaterdagochtend besloot Karin haar oude zolder op te ruimen. Ze vond veel spullen die ze jaren niet had gezien, maar een gele envelop trok haar aandacht.

De envelop was niet zomaar een brief, maar een vergeten brief van haar vader die ze nooit had gekregen. Ze voelde een mix van emoties: nieuwsgierigheid, verdriet en hoop.
